Lesson packs — pay per lesson, not per month
Taking lessons doesn't require a membership either. Instructors sell prepaid lesson packs — a bundle of sessions at their own price — and each booked lesson simply counts down from your pack. You'll find an instructor's packs on their profile and in the Learning Center once you're signed in.
Billing questions
Do I need a membership to use Get Out and Jam?
No. The core of the platform — your profile, the feed, messaging, finding jams and bandmates, the marketplace, and the practice tools — is free. Memberships add capacity on top: monthly credits, HD and larger jam rooms, analytics, and the full teaching toolkit.
What are credits?
Credits are the platform's usage currency for things like live jam rooms and lesson sessions. Every membership refills your credit wallet each month; the allocation is listed on each plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account whenever you like — you drop back to the free plan and keep any credits already granted for the current period. No phone calls, no retention maze.
How do payments work?
Billing runs through Stripe, the same payment infrastructure used across the platform for lessons, tickets, and the marketplace. We never see or store your card number.
Do you support promo codes?
Yes — if you have a promo code, you can apply it on the plan page after you sign in.
What about lessons for my kid?
Parents and guardians get a scoped portal: you can see progress and handle billing for a minor's lessons without needing to run their account.
